Health Funds & Rebates

Supporting you through your journey

ComfyBack products are recognised as an important element of a patient’s recovery and injury prevention by many health funds.

WorkCover Queensland

ComfyBack products are considered a supportive device under code 300094 and can be provided to your patients without prior approval through WorkCover. As Workers Compensation varies from state to state, please talk to your provider for specific information regarding approval of these products.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

ComfyBack products are DVA approved and can be ordered through Allianz Global Assistance using the D0992 RAP Mobility & Functional Support Products Direct Order Form.

Third Party

ComfyBack products can be requested by Physiotherapists for patients under third party insurance through the applicable Provider Management Plan.

Health Funds

A letter can be provided from the physiotherapist for the patient to submit to their health fund explaining the identified needs of the ComfyBack product prescribed. Whilst it is at the discretion of the health fund as to whether they will reimburse patients for this product – being from a physiotherapist and using the words “ongoing/chronic condition” and “ComfyBack support/orthotic” has enabled many patients to gain full or partial reimbursements.
